Hey there. I promise I didn't get my own domain for ego purposes! I just figured that it would make it easier to find me, and if it helps get more people to The Student Center (www.student.com) - well, THAT is the real reason for the page! Someday, maybe I'll make a decent homepage for myself. But those of you who know me realize that I have no computer skills, which is a bit ironic for somebody who is on the internet for work everyday.
I work with The Student Center (www.student.com), which is one of the leading web communities for teens, high school and college students. We also operate Campus Hook, which is a college network and college dating site. The Student Center is located in Irvington, New York, just 23 miles north of midtown Manhattan. I am also involved with Tri-County I-Net, which is located in Central Pennsylvania.
I live in Hastings-on-Hudson, New York, which is where I grew up. I returned after a short stint in Silicon Valley, California, because
I really love it here. Hastings is just 20 miles north of midtown NYC and is a great place to live. The rest of my immediate family is also still in Hastings.
My father, Paul Edelman, is a trial lawyer whom specializes in maritime law. He works at Kreindler & Kreindler, LLP, a law firm that represents plaintiffs in complex litigation.
My mother, Rosemary, had helped run Good Yarns Bookstore in Hastings and is now retired. She is doing part-time work at the Hastings Historical Society. My brother Peter, his wife, Dora, and their two daughters, Alita, and Arielle, are also living in Hastings.
